How to Remove Acne Scars

acne scar removal, acne scars removal, how to remove acne scarsYep I'm still here in case you were wondering. I've been trying to learn how to remove acne scars for months now. I haven't given up hope, but the road definitely hasn't been smooth for me. I can imagine you feel the same way. Trying to remove acne scars seems to be an almost impossible feat. I'm not sure the pitted scars can ever be totally removed, but I think there are ways to dramatically improve them; this is what most people want anyway. I know I'd be happy with a drastic improvement in my acne scars! Wouldn't you?

How to Remove Acne Scars
Some of the best methods in my opinion are TCA CROSS and the Dermaroller method. These two methods can be done at home and are affordable. Also, my belief is that they have the potential to give results comparable or better than you would get in a doctor's office. I have been having some luck and seeing improvements with both of these acne scar removal methods. Give them a try, but not simultaneously! Try one first, then the other if you aren't happy with the first one. Trial and error is a big part of "how to remove acne scars" as I have learned.

After getting extremely discouraged for the longest time, I am glad to have come across these acne scars removal methods TCA CROSS and Dermaroller. They are both excellent and show promise in this field of research.

If you do use these methods to remove acne scars, remember to read and follow the directions provided in the packages. You must be gentle with your skin and don't overdo it - especially with the tca cross. Be careful and ask someone who has performed the procedures before if you need help. You don't want to make your acne scars worse! lol

acne scar removal

how to remove acne scars, remove acne scars, acne scar removal, ice pick acne scars, boxcar acne scars, rolling acne scars, microdermabrasion for acne scars, acne scar removal techniquesI haven't had much luck in the past couple months regarding acne scar removal techniques and that is why I haven't posted. It is quite difficult to find something that works well enough to recommend! All of this is very frustrating for those of us who have been dealing with the horror of trying to remove acne scars for many years. This acne scar removal is like an endless battle that goes nowhere. I'm sure you can relate.

However, I recently did some microdermabrasion treatments for my ice pick scars and it helped quite a bit to even out the texture of my skin in those scarred areas. It took a few treatments (about 6) to see the "acne scars" fade a bit and my skin to smooth out, but I did see improvement. It's definitely not as much improvement as I'd ideally like to see (since I'd like to totally remove acne scars from my entire face!), but it's better than nothing. At least the appearance of my acne scars has improved - even if it's only 10% or so.

I'd say give this one a try if you have really mild or shallow acne scars - ice pick acne scars, boxcar acne scars, or rolling acne scars. It's worth a shot. Don't expect drastic improvement in your acne scars - especially if you have a lot of rolling scars. Also, I suspect that if you are younger (less than 30 years old) you should get slightly better results with acne scar removal than someone who is older simply due to the increased collagen and the better ability of your skin to renew itself.

I'll come back next time with my review of another acne scar treatment. Until then - good luck with your acne scar removal efforts and most importantly, hang in there!

How to Remove Acne Scars

how to remove acne scars, acne scars, acne scar removal, how do I get rid of acne scars, how do I cover up acne scars, ice pick scars, boxcar scars, rolling scars, Fraxel, acne scar removal
I have had a personal struggle with acne for the past 12 years (I took Accutane twice!), and now my battle is with acne scars and figuring out how to remove acne scars from my cheeks and forehead. Skin care regimens have been a major part of my life for a long, long time. I have deep ice pick scars and a few rolling scars as well as boxcar scars. The icepick acne scarring is the most annoying because it is scattered all over the place! These ACNE SCARS are like a constant reminder of my 12 year struggle - they are my battle wounds. No amount of make-up can hide or remove acne scars. Not to mention that most dermatologic procedures like Fraxel, laser resurfacing, dermabrasion, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and fillers have been an utter and complete waste of money. In some cases, these procedures actually made my them worse and more discolored/uneven!

Over time, they have become a part of who I am. And true, over time they have gotten a little better and have faded a bit. However, they are still there, still a reminder of my acne ridden days in my teens and early 20's. I started this acne scar journal to document my successes and failures of acne scar treatments that I continue to try. I won't give up! I won't! How do I remove acne scars? I don't know, but I will certainly keep trying to figure it out for the good of myself and everyone reading this! However, how to erase acne scars is no easy task!

Depending on the type of scarring (ice pick scars, boxcar scars, rolling scars) I will try different treatment methods. Different acne scars require different solutions. For those of us in this sticky situation, we are always ready to improvise and try new things in the name of true improvement. I have a few treatment ideas lined up (and they are all low cost) so that almost anyone can attempt them if I bump into a successful remedy or remedies. Some will be acne scar home remedies, acne scar removal creams and kits that can be purchased online, and other similar things. My future posts will feature these.

I am just an ordinary person looking for cheap, ordinary treatments for my ice pick scars (and the others if possible). With all the technology available today, you'd think achieving this would be no big deal, but it seems to be... Otherwise no one would be searching high and low for a remedy to erase, remove, fill in, or cover up indented acne scars! I am tired of looking like someone walked up to my face and attacked me with an ice pick! If you are reading this then you probably feel the same way. LOL

So come on back and read my trials and errors over the next few months. Let's figure out how to remove pitted acne scars. I'll post everything here and will not be biased toward any particular acne scar treatment since I am not making any money off them anyway! I'm not selling affiliate products, so don't worry. See ya next time! ;)
